Spirit is just what the title suggests...it's an amazing story of love, courage and freedom and is appropriate for children of any age. My 5 year old granddaughter was watching it with me and I was "bawling" and she said "it's o.k. Gram...it all works out in a happy way!" You might want to preview it before showing to very young childen because there are some scenes that might frighten them. I think there are many valuable lessons to be learned from this beautiful movie.

Spirit is my daughter's newest favorite movie, so she really likes having the book so that she can read and tell the story herself. Good pictures especially.
