This cd if far beyond wonderful! I study Shamanism, and do a lot of meditating and journeying. This is the BEST cd of music to work with in meditations and when journeying! I'll be purchasing my 2nd copy after writing this - it's so good I wore the first copy out! Everyone who wants to deepen their level of soul awareness & energy power quickly & safely should definitely pick up a copy of this.......listen for youself, because there are no real words to describe the benefits. It's soothing, and yet lively. You will see scenes, and feel air flying past you as though you've taken flight. Very powerful.

If you want relaxing music with the sounds of song birds and running water intertwined with mellow North American Indian percussion and wind flute, this is the CD to buy. Excellent sound quality and musical arrangements. Turn down the lights, close your eyes, and imagine...

This CD is filled with the sounds of nature, delicately augmented by masterfully played flutes, drums and other percussion instruments. An ever-changing tableau of burbling brooks, thunder showers, whippoorwills, ravens, and hawks interact naturally with soothing flutes.

Before purchasing be aware there are three odd additions to what is called a Native American Sound. There is a rather amateurish sounding Spanish guitar piece, some drums that are obviously metal and people faking a horse snorting sound on the last track. I can forgive all but the last item, being a horse person :) There are some enjoyable sounds to listen to here if you can ignore these three glaring items.

This was the very first CD I ever owned and I must admit is still one of my very favorites! There is something about this type of native american music played on a wooden flute that really reaches into my soul. These tracks are accompanied with sounds from nature and take you on a journey and help you appreciate the wonders of the natural world. Used over the years since it's creation extensively as soundtrack for documentaries and other programs dealing with the old west some of these tracks are bound to sound familiar to you!
Soar with the eagles, get swept away by the storm.... you'll love it! Perfect for a relaxing massage or meditation, I highly recommend it! I am going to have to buy myself another copy, as I have worn mine out!

Native American music takes you to another world. A peaceful world. A world connected through mind, body, and spirit. Listening to an album like this brings you to the world that these people once knew. Put this album on, close your eyes, and think. Picture life as they knew it. It's amazing.

I am Native American and have collected many CD's at our gatherings (which you refer to as Pow Wow's), however this CD is my and will always be my favorite. The artist who plays the flute is exceptional and those who accompany him with other instruments blend in so beautifully without over powering the flute. What makes this CD so very special are the natural sounds of the forest in the back round, the water running in the creek near by, the sounds of different animals, the faint sound of thunder in the distance. In every way this CD is very soothing and a great way to distress, meditate or fall asleep to.

The seller shipped this very quickly. The CD is awesome and it is better than I anticipated. A friend let me listen to some snippets of a few of the pieces on this CD and I had to have it. If you are looking for a very calming collection of music in Native American style, this is one you will want to start with or add to your existing collection. It is of the best I have heard. The music is wonderful with a blend of nature sounds to carry you off into a peaceful state. It is a good choice to use for meditation as well.
