I found this show to be much better than most cop shows offered on television, and I am a fan of cop shows, without doubt. Poppy Montgomery was terrific as the "star," a detective who can remember almost everything that has ever happened to her. For me, she showed greater range in her acting than she had on Without A Trace where she'd never been given the opportunities that she had here. She was certainly strong enough to carry the show. The scenes in which she travels back mentally to review a scene, tapping into her infallible memory for detail, were always enthralling. However the supporting cast was exceptionally good as well; and the writing was fresh and unusual. I couldn't predict where the stories were going and I found the resolutions satisfying. I became more and more interested in the supporting cast, as well as the star. I was very disappointed when CBS cancelled this show. I don't think networks gives new series enough of a chance to find their audience. Maybe some one on cable will pick up this show. Hope so. I recommend what we have of it here -- one interesting and entertaining season.

I was a big fan of Numb3rs, with the twist of a math genius helping the FBI solve crimes. In this story, the heroine has an amazing memory. She never forgets anything she sees or hears. She can go back and review a crime scene like she's watching a video.

There is also an interesting backstory that the fellow detective the heroine is working with is a former lover.

I don't watch most of the police shows on TV, but I like the actress playing the heroine in this one.

I was so disappointed when CBS axed this series. The story line is fun and interesting - if a little bit fanciful. Poppy Montgomery is mischievous yet fun. As for TV situation dramas this series is as good as any. I am delighted to learn that it will be back on in the fall.

My favorite show....I can't wait for it to resume this coming summer. Until then, I'll keep watching this season. All of the actors are excellent as is the plot line in every episode.

I found this while flipping channels part way through the 1st season. With the start of the 3rd season coming I introduced this to a friend of mine starting at the pilot via Amazon download and realized I hadn't seen the first few episodes - and he liked it too. I want to get the dvd/blue-ray set.

I absolutely love crime shows! When i first purchased the first episode I did not think i was going to like it at all! The character Carrie is very captivating. She is very edgy, witty and plays by her own rules. She also has extreme empathy for victims which makes her fight even harder to find justice for those people as she's fighting her own demons and trying to solve her sister's murder. I thought the "super power" she has was also an interesting twist on her character. I love how the show takes you back to the crime scene when she is using her amazing memory skills because it makes me feel as if I'm helping solve the crimes in the show as well. :)

I really liked this show and would have watched for some time. The concept is unique, the acting/writing was solid and I enjoyed each episode. I liked all of the actors on this show, some I had enjoyed on other series as well: Poppy Montgomery on Without a Trace (Unforgettable is a better character for her), Kevin Rankin on Justified (he has tremendous range including a memorable character on an In Plain Sight episode), Dylan Walsh (he sneaks up on you in movies/series and then you figure out who it is; a sign of an effective actor), and Michael Gaston (also on The Mentalist). The remaining cast is solid as well. I did notice on IMDB a July 28, 2013 release date for a second season of Unforgettable (hope that's true) and perhaps the first season will be released on DVD soon. It seemed like the networks cancelled the unique concept shows that premiered in this same season - not sure what they were drinking, but if Unforgettable comes back maybe others will as well.

UNFORGETTABLE, Season 1, is my new favorite series. Poppy Montgomery's character, Carrie Wells, is "unforgettable"! I can watch each episode "over and over". I enjoy watching each episode to see how Carrie Wells and her significant other, Al Burns, "connect". Will they or won't they? Never a boring minute watching "these two" on the small screen! I love a good mystery (who done it) and this TV series never disappoints!
