This review is from: When the Spirits Come Back (Studies in Jungian Psychology By Jungian Analysts) (Paperback)
This book is likely to be a deeply moving surprise for anyone interested in either Jungian psychology or just discovering a fuller, richer life. Dr. Dallett writes in a manner that invites the reader into contact with those areas of human experience that underlie -- and often interfere with -- daily living. She is able to articulate as compassionate, clear, common sense material that is often overlooked as arcane, or only for professionals. The mixture of her academic knowledge and her skepticism toward the institutionalizing of powerful concepts render wonderfully accessible a personal experience of that ordering energy of nature commonly referred to as "God". This book is an excellent work both for the reader interested in an introduction to Jung's psychology, and for the analyst who sincerely wishes to support healing in those with whom we work.
