About the Author

Michael Sage Hider has a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering, an M.A. in Philosophy, and a Juris Doctor degree. As an air force officer, he conducted hypervelocity impact studies and underground nuclear tests at the Neveda Test Site. He was also a silicon crystal-growing engineer and an aerospace engineer. Hider left engineering for a career in law. He was a trial attorney for eleven years, then ran for and was elected Superior Court Judge in Merced County, California.

Hider reveals an amazing secret -- how to REALLY make peace with your past. He astutely showed me the problem -- that I was enslaved by my emotional attachment to my past. Whether the enslavement was caused by the things that were done to me by others, or by 'fate', or by myself, I was a slave and had neither peace nor freedom. Using Biblical wisdom and much insight, Hider showed me -- step by step -- how to get free of the emotional destructiveness of my past. This book is very helpful and inspiring. I have given copies to friends who need help in dealing with problems. They are given the tools to rise above the pain their past has brought them. Every one who truly wants healing from their hurts can find it if they follow the guidlines in this book.We do not have to remain bound by our past. Judge Hider was certainly inspired by God when he wrote this.
