About the Author

Henry Blackaby is founder and president emeritus of Blackaby Ministries International, an organization built to help people experience God. He and his wife have five children, fourteen grandchildren, and live in Rex, Georgia.

Richard Blackaby is president of Blackaby Ministries International and the oldest child of Henry and Marilynn Blackaby. He holds degrees from the University of Saskatchewan, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Dallas Baptist University. He lives with his wife and children in South Carolina.

I use this book in a class I teach at our college on Biblical Leadership. Almost every sentence contains a gem that students underline, write down, or want to remember.

One of the best books I have ever read on being a spiritual leader

I have nothing to say against the content of this book my issue is with the length and presentation. I found after having to read multiply chapters a night for a modular class the extensive amount of examples and stories began to distract from the principal being taught. I think the extensive areas of leadership covered is great but the "Revised and Expanded" dragged it on and on. Check out the original version.

This book and all of Blackaby's books are just great. This is a great book for small group studies and for all who want to learn to be leaders to serve in the ministry.
