About the Author

Laurie Conrad is a concert pianist and composer living in Ithaca, New York. As a Divine Healer, she heals people as well as animals and plants, and is a member of the Distant Healing Network's (DHN) emergency team. About the Designer/IllustratorDiana Souza is a graphic artist whose artwork has been on bookshelves since 1983. Her work can be seen a www.art-temple.com Laurie and Diana have been creative collaborators for seventeen years. They co-produced many episodes of a long-running series on cable TV called Paths to Spirituality and have been fellow contemplatives since 1984.

As a holistic veterinarian, and also as a friend of the illlustrator of this wonderful book, as well as being honored to have the special cat on the cover as one of my favorite clients, I was very lucky to receive a copy of this book in the mail. I have to recommend this book because of its amazing content and unique insights. When I received my copy a few weeks ago, I sat down and read it cover to cover and was charmed by the stories and also inspired about how this could help with healing both animals and people, as well as plants. I have recommended it to my clients as I feel it is something that will help bring people and animals to a closer understanding of one another and of the spiritual bond between them, that I see every day in the course of my work.

"The Spiritual Life of Animals and Plants" is a wonderful exploration of the sensitivity and susceptibility of animals to the spiritual world. It is well written and very engaging. The stories, in and of themselves, are full of charm and subtle humor - and can be read at any level. This is a book that anyone with an appreciation of the animal and natural world will enjoy. The author deftly makes the connections between the physical and spiritual world.

The author is a clairvoyant and Divine Healer and in these wonderful stories are miracles in Healing. Divine Healing, and miracles are withing the grasp of every person. Every person is a Healer. This was a very inspiring book that cause me to believe that animals are sentient beings who have a heart, soul, and can communicate with us if we listen. They are like little children. This is a must read for anyone who owns and loves animals. I tried her technique for communicating with my cat, and it worked!! tuffy didnt say much though..
