About the Author

Anita trained as a teacher and received a BEd (Hons) from the University of East Anglia in 1976. For the past eleven years she has worked in the adult training sector delivering National Vocational Qualifications. Alongside these activities, her personal learning about esoteric subjects and her spiritual development have been a part of everyday life. Anita has practiced Transcendental Meditation, learning it in Greece in the 1980's. More recently, she became a Reiki master in 2004 and graduated from the Awakening Your Light Body course with the School of the Living Light in Somerset in 2005 and a Radiance course in 2007. Anita runs a spiritual development group and workshops. She also channels inspirational 'Writings' on an individual appointment basis, to help and inspire those wishing to align themselves with their life's higher purpose. Anita together with her husband and partner Michael run Healing Hands in Hellesdon offering complementary therapies. Deborah holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia gained in 1984. A change of direction came with an increased interest in Complementary Therapies. She qualified in Therapeutic Massage in 1987 and taught meditation and lifestyle courses. She then qualified in Reflexology and Seated Acupressure Massage in the 90's. In 2004 she became an Usui Reiki Master and completed an Advanced Level Gaia Course in 2005. Deborah has been running and developing her own Complementary Therapy and Healing practice since 1997 whilst continuing to develop skills to help her clients in mind, body and spirit. Spiritual and professional development tend to converge through her interests in Bach Flower Remedies, Emotional Freedom Technique, Jin Shin Jyitsu, mantras, meditation and Tai Chi. As an avid reader of spiritual and esoteric material she has assisted many clients in finding their individual life's path and purpose.
