5.0 out of 5 stars Working for self attainment., October 12, 2000

Once again Master Ni has provided a book which helps to guide one to thier true self. This book is another tool to bring one not to an awareness of external spiritual trappings, but to greater alligence to one's inner-self. Well worth the time. Use it for your cultivation.

A friend loaned me a copy of this to read. I had been on a spiritual quest and I guess he was tired of me asking so many questions of him. I read it twice and then bought my own copy along with some other Master Ni titles to read. Each time I read it I get more out of it. The Tao has proved challenging for me to understand, this book helped clarify many points for me. The book is a collection of 'talks' and question and answer sessions during a tour around the world. There are many stories and a lot of good info on Tao.

5.0 out of 5 stars Master Ni shares his immense knowledge, July 7, 2006

This review is from: Spiritual Messages From a Buffalo Rider: A Man of Tao (Paperback)
I take issue with the other reviewer who rated all NiHuaChing's books (and Master Ni) negatively. Let this person share his wondrous credentials. The person obviously has a personal grudge and I would be very careful and read at least one of NiHuaChing's books in order to properly JUDGE FOR YOURSELF. I met NiHuaChing several times in the late 70's, knew some of his students, and found Master Ni to be sincere in his desire to share knowledge which has been passed down from antiquity. His students learn everything from tai chi tailored to the seasons to herbology and Chinese medicine. In my opinion, Master Ni's books can be helful by themselves, or as supplements to your own studies and classes. He speaks plainly and never condescends. I have read several of his books and have found them to be quite steady and on the mark.
