This text provides a good example of how one can be a mentor no matter what stage of life you are at or your giftedness. Encourages you to get involved in another's life and be a godly influence. Great for women's study groups/discussion.

Mrs. Hunt addresses the subject of biblical mentoring with passion and grace. This book is not merely a "how-to", but provides a strong foundation for loving relationships between women, with God's glory being the chief end and highest goal of such relationships.

The command in Titus 2 for older women to teach younger women has long been on my heart and I have desired to reach out beyond my own daughters, but have not often had the opportunity to develop such a relationship with others. I wish older women had reached out to me when I was younger and did not realize how much I needed their help and encouragement. This book is great for women of all ages. It encourages the younger to seek the wisdom of the older, and the older to share what God has taught them. We are starting group studies of this book in our church.

Spiritual mothering is a good starting point to developing a meaningful women's ministry. The ideas brought forth in this book are very basic. It is too bad that the author did not go into more depth as to how spiritual mothering can be developed in a local congregation. I presented a program on this book to the United Methodist Women's group at my church. The women in my group felt overwhelmed by the title, but later concluded that Spiritual Mothering is a "heavy" title assigned to christian fellowship among women. I am not sure Mrs. Hunt had this in mind in writing this book. I recommend this book for women who are new to the christian faith, and for those who are just starting in women's ministry.

This is an excellent book for a Womens' Bible study or a general lesson/study. There is currently a great need for such a topic, as church family is often the only family nearby...

This book is great! Susan Hunt's writing is very concise and thought-provoking. I have recommended this book to all my friends, as it has been such a great encouragement to me. I enjoy the real-life and honest stories of women from different backgrounds. This book is applicable to every woman, not only to encourage you to find a younger woman to mentor or to find an older woman to emulate, but also just to encourage you to pray for the next generation of women in the church, and to live a Godly life that will be worthy of emulation.

A Godly based guide for mentoring younger women in your church. Will do wonders for all the women in your church, young and old!

A lot of women turn to Titus 2 for instruction, encouragement and direction on being a mother, wife and woman. Susan Hunt has laid a great foundation of mentoring and mothering.
One person at a time, is the heart of Susan and she guides is through the who, how and why spiritual mentoring is so important.

I recommend this book to mothers, women in leadership positions and those who have a heart to reach other women for Christ.

One does not have to be a biological mother to be a spiritual mother. This book has many realistic stories of how God used some women, who might be ranked by others as "little nobodies". God has a plan for each one of us and at all stages of our lives. Let this book encourage and challenge you to reach out to a young or older lady who God has directed your way.
