Very provocative. Mr. Pless keeps logic strongly positioned by his side as he makes an unusual approach, but a strong one, toward and explanation of how and why God and His angels prepared a universe for the inevitable manifestation of humans. These vulnerable humans, helped by angels, struggled to survive, as they began to contemplate their nature and purpose, ultimately to glorify their Creator by way of love and their destined creativity. It is a careful and reasoned means, too, by which Mr. Pless establishes the unavoidable truth that Lucifer, the father and furtherer of lies, is extant and looking for any weakness he can use to divert us from the Way, the Truth, and the Life. One cannot read SPIRITUAL NATURE OF THE UNIVERSE without consciously or subconsciously contemplating Pascal's Wager: If there's a possibility of our loving God forever, for eternity (and Mr. Pless shows convincingly that it is indeed more than just a possibility), why would anyone take a chance? Pascal, one of the most brilliant minds in history, realized the obvious: that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only path to choose.

If you read this book with an open mind and common sense it can offer potential answers to many questions about spirituality. It is not a book about religion. It helps one understand the importance of the soul's development, our partnership with it and how the need for salvation came about. It offers a better understanding about the fallen angel and how that relates to us today. This book did not "preach" but simply shared what had been revealed to the author. It is a little cumbersome in the beginning. I found the first few chapters harder to read than the rest but was glad I stayed with it. The middle is very enlightening yet the end seems to drag and repeat itself. I would recommend it in spite of the challenges in reading because the message is worth having. It is one of those books I will read again.
