Book Description

January 20, 2001
Many think of Christianity & Sikhism as totally different irreconcilable faiths. The author wrote The Spiritual Power: A Gift of Christianity & Sikhism so that people could inform themselves-first-hand about the two faiths, and thereby enlighten their understanding of one by learning more about the other. The pages on the left side of the book are devoted to Christianity, those on the right to Sikhism. Thus the two religions are laid out side by side as they consider such crucial topics as the nature of God, the purpose of life, and the enrichment provided by a happy and purposeful marriage, among many other important topics.

About the Author

Dr. Harsimran Singh, Ph.D., migrated from India to the United States in 1973 and is now a US Citizen. Dr. Singh believes full heartedly that he is in debt to the beautiful people of America who so graciously enabled him to be so successful in the United States. He neither had, nor was he allowed to take out more than $8 from his birth country, India, where he had been religiously discriminated for being a Sikh. He dedicates his life in serving humanity through what ever means he can do it - a major dictum of his religion Sikhism. One of three fundamental commandments of Sikhism is to serve God's creation by sharing with others without discrimination. His guiding light and life s fulfillment has always motivated him to transverse the spiritual path while he makes his living out of ownership of shopping centers. His writing of 10+ books on varied subjects such as religions, spirituality, finances, stock market, and real estate etc., listed on BillionaireBestSellers.com is a way of his paying back the debt by sharing his knowledge & experience gained in this great country of ours. He is married to Dr. Satnam Kaur, who is a practicing Anesthesiologist. They are blessed with three children and He and his family reside on Long Island, New York.
