5.0 out of 5 stars Another piece of the grand puzzle
This is fabulous. Being able to view my own life as well as others with understanding and compassion for the life lessons we are working is invaluable. I now clearly see that I set myself up with a few energy matrixes and am here to master them, not vanquish them, which is what I had been struggling to do my whole life. 2.0 out of 5 stars OK but not for me
I ordered this book through the recommendation of a friend. I found it somewhat interesting and a little thought provoking at times, but it felt like a collection of New Age perspectives bundled into one. As my persona philosophy is based much more on the Law of Attraction, there was much information in this book that didn't resonate with me.

This is fabulous. Being able to view my own life as well as others with understanding and compassion for the life lessons we are working is invaluable. I now clearly see that I set myself up with a few energy matrixes and am here to master them, not vanquish them, which is what I had been struggling to do my whole life. It is empowering, indeed to realize that all the energy stamps along the way can be vanquished and the matrices only mastered.

This is a must-read for anyone in a profession where they are facilitating others growth and self-evaluation.

And if you are a seeker on your own path to harmony in your life it is for you also.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Giant Step Forward, January 22, 2007
This review is from: Spiritual Psychology: The Twelve Primary Life Lessons (Paperback)

Spiritual psychology has just taken a giant step forward. Steve Rother has identified twelve primary life lessons which, at a soul level, people choose to master through physical incarnation. By identifying the main and the secondary life lessons that a person is working through, the higher purpose of these can be appreciated and the lessons mastered.

Spiritual matters tend to be beyond the understanding of academic institutions. While universities do teach the works of inspired pioneers like Jung and Maslow, they cut away their spiritual components, leaving only the mundane and materialistic parts. Spiritual psychology will take root and expand with or without institutional support. Initially, it will likely leave academia behind and become its own science.

So, if you have the pioneering spirit to become one of the early practitioners and researchers of spiritual psychology, remember this. The last frontier is not outer space. It's inner space!

WOW! Steve Rother has written this book which is nothing less than a pure gift to humanity. Spiritual Psychology: The Twelve Primary Life Lessons teaches and shares how vital it is when we are working with others to empower THEM, and NEVER take THEIR power away from learning how to heal themselves as we may facilitate in their process.

IMHO (In my humble opinion) I think that every teacher, doctor, spiritual counselor, and practitioner of ANY kind that is working in the field of helping to uplift humanity would receive such a great gift in reading this book.

It resonated so purely within my heart and soul. It is genuine, real, and authentically empowering.
THANK YOU Steve for this beautiful and phenomenal gift to our world.

The section on the 12 Lessons of the Soul, and the distinction between Energy Stamps and Energy Matrices make this book an important addition to the Library of the serious student of Spirituality.

I strongly recommend this book!

Steve Rother's book, Spiritual Psychology, is heaven sent. The information contained within the book has brought peace to myself and has given me the understanding and insight as to why people keep struggling with the same issues over and over. The author presents the information in a non-judgemental and spiritual manner, and has been so thought provoking and life changing, that I not only recommend it to my clients and students but I also make it a required read to those taking my Soul Therapy Practitioner(R) Program. Spiritual Psychology is a must for anyone walking on their spiritual path or doing spiritual teaching and counseling!

5.0 out of 5 stars Spiritual Psychology:The Twelve Primary Life Lessons, September 23, 2007
This review is from: Spiritual Psychology: The Twelve Primary Life Lessons (Paperback)
When Steve Rother writes a book it is clear in its meaning even if you have never read his books, if you pick one up you will want to read more. This one is so clear why people are all learning life lessons and gives you an understanding how people react in all aspects of their lives. It explains why people are who they are, and their reactions at different times. I now can have more compassion for the reactions of all people because it makes more sense why they follow a certain path, we are all mastering or trying to master our life lessons. Please read this book for it opens a whole new world for you. Excellent.

If you are reading this book and others like it, you have been a seeker of truth for a long time. It is the third in line from the authors "Re-Membering and "Welcome Home" and should be read in that order. Everyone should be able to recognize themselves on one or more of the outlined "paths". Because we are the planet of free choice, we may also have blind spots as to what our path is. Excellent insight and worth sharing with family and friends.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gitty-up, March 14, 2007
This review is from: Spiritual Psychology: The Twelve Primary Life Lessons (Paperback)
The book identified my life lessons with a high probability. The lessons were all described complete with corrective actions. It was horrifying to see myself and the truth of my life and its most awful events. This book is hard hitting and right on point. Socrates would be pleased at the examination of your life and Thoreau would smile if you no longer lived your life in quiet desperation - if you dare. Namaste.

5.0 out of 5 stars MUST READ!!, May 26, 2008
This review is from: Spiritual Psychology: The Twelve Primary Life Lessons (Paperback)
I absolutely LOVE this book. It makes sense and explains so much of what is "beneath the surface". To read and understand how we make our contracts, our decisions, and choose our life lessons gives us the benefit of divine perspective that we may otherwise not be able to understand. When I read about my own life lesson it resonated on a level that I can not even explain in words. Suddenly everything made sense.
I had read another of Steve's books and picked up Spiritual Psychology a few years ago. I was anxious to read it, but everytime I could only get into about 10-15 pages and then I would stop. About two months later, I picked it up again, this time hoping to fall asleep reading. Instead of going to sleep I ended up reading the entire book cover to cover. I have never gotten so caught up in a book that I've spent 7 hours straight reading it. All I can say is WOW!!!
If you're looking for a perspective of why you're here, why you've chosen the people in your life and how you can work through your lessons - this is the book for you!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Clearly a Must Read for the Spiritual Seeker, May 26, 2009
This review is from: Spiritual Psychology: The Twelve Primary Life Lessons (Paperback)
If you want to take your understanding of life and the human psyche a giant step beyond the traditional confines of textbook psychology, sociology and philosophy, this book is definitely a must read. It tells you a great deal about yourself and your personality. The book provides insight and precious advice as to how you can work on (and with) your primary life lessons in order to lead a better life. If I were to set up a favourite-book list from my large library, this one would definitely be among them. I can also strongly recommend Steve Rother's other books.
