More then I asked for, more then what I ever wanted in a great read. This book is the definition of taking me to that one place you dream about. IMAGINATION! Ms Day's Spiritual Seduction was exactly what it is called and in many ways I was seduce, pleased, and teased all the way through this book. The story is paranormal. Something I wouldnt normally pick up but I am so glad to see I was judging this genre all wrong. Talk about a book similar to New Moon or Vampire in Brooklyn but ten times better. The authors sense of style was original and the story line of a woman falling in love with a demon slayer was so authentic. This book reminded me of the movie Denzel was in where demons took over your body. It depicted that movie to the tee. This book has become one of Most favorable and memorable because it stands alone. nothing in literature that Ive read can compare. i would be lying if I said this was a good book because It was more then that. More then what I can say in this short statement. Great job to Desiree Day and I cant wait for part 2. This is a top shelf recommended read.

Die Already,
This review is from: Spiritual Seduction (Paperback)
In Spiritual Seduction by Desiree Day, Riley Tyson is widowed when her husband, Bradley, dies unexpectedly. She loved her man, faults and all. However, exactly how much did Bradley love her? Riley's hurt turns to anger, after going through his possessions, and finding out there was more to Bradley's life than she had realized. But he is not done yet. Bradley's spirit comes back to rekindle the relationship that he once had with his wife. Riley is so wrapped up in what she believes is a second chance at the greatest romance ever, that when reality sets in her world is turned in all sorts of directions.
Malik Davenport tries his best to be there for his long time friend, Riley. He sees her for whom she is and realizes that there is more going on with her than she is willing to share. But Malik also has things about himself he never shared with his friend. In order for him to help Riley, he has to reveal all that he is. What will happen once Riley and Malik band together in an effort to rid herself from her past demon, Bradley? Spiritual Seduction is the first book I have ever read by Desiree Day and it was a delightful and exciting read. Ms. Day took three genres, rolled them into one and produced a truly entertaining book from beginning to end. As I went from page to page, there were times when my mouth hung open and there were times when I truly wanted to slap the mess out of somebody. It was not always the antagonist; sometimes the protagonist got me riled up as well. I recommend this book to readers of erotica, romance, and paranormal; you will not be disappointed. I received this book from the publisher for review purposes. Jennifer Coissiere APOOO BookClub

Spirtual Seduction,
This review is from: Spiritual Seduction (Paperback)
Meet Riley: a sister, mother, teacher, and wife to Bradley Tyson. She has a good heart, and she's a great parent to her children and a forgiving wife, even when Bradley treats her like trash. On the evening of their fifth anniversary, Bradley is murdered by a pimp for non-payment of services. His evil deeds as a human have guaranteed him occupancy in hell. However, there's something on earth that Bradley wants too badly to stay there.
Bradley's spirit starts to visit Riley at night in her bedroom. His seduction reminds Riley of the old times before they were married. Night after night, the seduction continues, and Bradley takes Riley on trips to the other side...a place called Lavaster. She realizes that she is falling in love with Bradley all over again, that is, until he reminds her of his dark side. During the repast, her boss of six years, Malik Davenport, comforts her. He's tall, handsome, rich, and exactly what heaven ordered for Riley and her family. For Bradley and the army he's building, things are about to heat up. Spiritual Seduction is mixed with romance, sensitivity, some comedy and sadness. On page 260, Tamia and Riley are discussing the gifts that Bradley has brought her over the years. Tamia attempts to show her sister Riley that she can do better. Riley tells Tamia that Bradley brought her a pair of diamond earrings. Her comeback is "They're no bigger than a crack head's brain" (that was too funny). I've followed Ms. Day since her first book Crazy Love and have enjoyed every read. Comedy and romance seems to be her niche; however, this time she's added the paranormal element to her characters and I must say that it works very well. Her writing was lyrical, and the characters (wow the characters) were marked by richness and full of flavor. The paranormal elements were original and it was a fresh look at demon slayers and demons as they travelled from our world to theirs. I was caught up in this story with the very first mention of demon dust and the paladins. Ms. Day introduced major plot lines and followed up on each one of them. Spiritual Seduction was a fantastic read by Desiree Day. Reviewed by Missy for Urban Reviews

Paranormal Suspence Romance,

I've been a fan of Ms. Day since CRUISING and have read everything she has written and I have not been disappointed. Nor was I disappointed with SPIRITUAL SEDUCTION. This book had my emotions all over the place ( in a good way). Riley Tyson who is a grieving widow is suddenly having these erotic encounters with her dead husband's spirit, but those encounters turn evil. That's when the action starts as Riley fights for her and her children souls. I like the way Riley change from an insecure battered wife into a fierce Independence woman who protects her kids.I recommend this book if you like great sex, to laugh out loud, battles between good and evil, and reading about a hot sexy male with vibrant blue eyes. Great read, although at times it got a little long winded.

A Spiritual Delight!,

This review is from: Spiritual Seduction (Paperback)
Author Desiree Day once again confirms that she is here to stay with her novel, "Spiritual Seduction." The main protagonist, Riley Tyson, is newly widowed with two small children. The main antagonist, her deceased husband, Bradley Tyson, was a "hot mess" while he was alive. Although Riley did not wish death on Bradley, her life is initially peaceful after his demise. However, this peace is short-lived because Bradley's spirit is alive and will not take "no" for an answer. He begins to spiritually "court" Riley and it seems too good to be true - similar to most things in life.
Other characters include Riley's boss and close friend, the sexy and mysterious Malik Davenport. Riley involves Malik in her spiritual drama with Bradley and soon, all three of them are on a hellish journey that will have an avid reader up all night until the book is finished. What I love about this book are a few things - for one, the characters are interesting and intriguing; second, it s not predictable - just when I thought I had it figured out, the plot revealed more twists and turns. I highly recommend this book and plan to select it as a book-of-the-month. I challenge other book clubs to check it out! Make sure to turn on the lights! Riley Tyson is a wife, mother and middle school teacher with a soft heart. She loves her children and husband, Bradley, with all her heart. Even though Bradley is abusive and negligent, she remains faithful and defends him. When he's murdered, Riley learns some ugly truths about how well she knew her husband before his death. As she's beginning to heal from her grief, Bradley begins to visit her from the afterlife, causing her to fall in love with him all over again. Bradley has a more sinister plot in mind. Will Riley find out before it's too late?
SPIRITUAL SEDUCTION by Desiree Day is an entertaining read from beginning to end. She delivered a story filled with drama, betrayal and fantasy. Ms. Day kept me in anticipation as I read, guessing what would happen next. I usually don't read paranormal fiction, because it's hard to follow; however, this book was far from that.
