Don't look to this book for solutions to the current "crisis" of priestly vocation OR the on going abuse scandals. You won't find them in this book.
What you WILL find in this wonderful book is a description of what the spirituality of the Priesthood SHOULD be, but too often isn't. It describes how priests should be pursuing their vocation. Taken in that vein it's a marvelously spiritual book and I highly recommend it to the Catholic laity, priests and seminarians as well as those non-Catholics who wish to understand what the Catholic ideal priesthood means spiritually. |
