This book should be a standard read for christians. Most definitely on the top of the books I have read.

This book exposes Satan's most prevalent tactics and then offers God's remedies. Real life examples are included which allow the reader to parallel personal experiences with said examples.

This book has changed my life. It's made me keenly aware that Satan exists to tempt us away from the treasures that God wants to bless us with. I've had an awesome privilege to lead a group of women in a study of this book and it's been a blessing to learn this along the way. God is so much more powerful,...but we have to pursue a life of holiness to know Him and gain victory over the evil one. Blessings to you as you read this!

Every Christian should read this book. I have taken Dr. Rankin's spiritual warfare training. The book follows his training to the letter. This book teaches us how to recognize the deceitful lies of the enemy so we can live victorious and glorify God.

Over the past six months or so since I bought this book I have picked it up over a handful of times and every time I am amazed at the amount of spiritual insight I glean from it's pages, but at the same time I also find myself that same day or in the days following, facing serious temptation and often times biting the dust. It is frightening to me to think that I could see so clearly the plans of the enemy and still play right into his snares. For me it is a clear indication of my true loyalty or lack thereof. If my mind and heart were set far more on serving my King than following some law, then my heart wouldn't be as focused on building walls against sin as it would be about building bridges into the kingdom. I totally see the need to safeguard against sin, but also have noticed a pattern in my own life of putting my assurance in the wall versus my heroic King who is truly the only one that can save me from the sin that seeks to devour me. This book always stands as a vivid reminder that my power doesn't remotely lie in my own defensive strategizing but solely in the work of the Holy Spirit and my dependence upon Him for salvation, both eternally and in my daily battles.

With all of that said, I would like to offer a disclaimer, the truths found within this book all point back to a very real picture in the Bible of our enemy and his tactics, so the reader of this book will surely find themselves facing a considerable amount of opposition while working through it. Just like an opposing army wouldn't release their battle plans without a heck of a fight, the army of darkness will surely fight you tooth and nail to keep you from reading and more importantly, learning their tactics and your proper, successful response.
