This is another edited compilation of some of Mr. Spurgeon's sermons preached by him. I thumbed through the titles, and was delighted to see that I have access to the complete sermons. I gave this to a dear friend going through some dark times, and it is full of encouragement. For those who do not have access to all of Spurgeon's works, this is a sample of those that are so well suited with lessons that are necessary for growth in the Christian life.

A great doctrinally sound work on spiritual warefare. Definitely recommended reading if you wish for a scriptural approach versus the "anoint your house with oil/cleanse your neighborhood by prayer" literature which is plaguing a lot of Christian bookshelves. I definitely recommend this book along with John MacArthur's "How to Meet the Enemy" and Thomas Brook's "Precious Remedies Against Satan's Devices"
