The album touched my soul in ways I can't imagine. Revealing lyrics, great grooves. Sweet sexy voice to sooth anyone into pure realization of their own personal power. Loved ALL the tracks. WHY isn't she a famous artist. My pick of the most underated artist of all time. Seriously, listen to this album and you will find something special.

Enjoy the beat and the feminine growl that marks this uptempo pleaser. I got one for my wife and one for the office collection.

I first heard this CD when a friend loaned it to me at work. We struck up a conversation of reminicing the "Old School days" of melodic funk: Cameo, Rose Royce, New Birth, Rufus, Slave, Atlantic Starr and Shalamar, before the angry rapping of gunfire and misogyny became the current norm. On cueing song 1, I pictured a long lost genre coming to life again in the stageshow sound of sorely missed James Brown style horns and early 80's style swirling synths. This is a big funk statement being made! Then SHE stepped in! A woman with the sonic nuances of a true soul bandleader and balladeer. Scanning the lyrics, I was intrigued by ones like: "Freedom calls my soul, out of this routine world that we know..." and "Intuition calls and says 'release me', I'm the one you need..." Here is a woman who has the courage to mix spiritual longing with sexual undertones. Nice thing about it - this mix of earthiness and heaven is not thrown in your face! Here's a record you could play for your mom during a holiday break or jam on loudly at any dance party anywhere. A main highlight of this CD is Christina's voice. It rings of Lisa Stansfield, Toni Braxton, Prince and the Revolution, and Janis Joplin! In today's world, ethnicity is a non-issue. I have to mention though that Christina is a white American woman. She shows so efficiently the promise and soul/funk sensibilities of the traditions of black American music. With this kind of finesse and courageous beauty on her debut album, I'm an instant fan!

I relly like this album! Blue moon inn is my favorite, No wait The meltdown is my favorite, No Reciprocate is! AW hell I cant decide its all good. every one will find something to like. Christina has a funky way of hiting the grove that make me want to get down. I love the horns.

Christina's music is full of heart and soul! I love to rock to the funky beats and enjoy the heartfelt lyrics. Christina's smooth and sexy voice emaninates from my stereo. I can't wait to see Christina live!

This is an excellent first album from a very talented writer. You can feel the sensuousness in every moment; absolutely dripping with feel. Sonically excellent; obviously recorded and mixed by pros with years of experience.

I hear some deep rooted funk coming from this petite funky little white girl, Impressive! Who wouldv'e thought? A true phenomenon for the music industry to taste. I was very moved by the lyrics also by the sultry funk grooves, hypnotic... I would love to see her perform live! This is a breath of fresh air to the everyday hum drum boring music I've been subjected to. She brings something different to the industry, Bound to make a hit in this crazy business of music. I wish Christina Fasana all the luck in the world, and I look forward to more stuff in the future.

We could use more of this lady! The music's hard to classify....killer dance tunes, jazzy/brassy, a dash of throaty blues, all woven with fresh lyrics...you can tell she put her heart into this one. Definitely only the first we'll hear of this new artist, she's a keeper!
