Spiru-Tein contains energizing ingredients and this powder blends into delicious creamy orange shake when blended with orange juice. I prefer the taste of soy protein and this product contains Non-GMO isolated soy protein.

This powder not only has a broad profile of essential vitamins and minerals, it is filled with diet-aids (Lecithin, Spirulina, Choline and Inositol) and enzymes (Bromelain and Papaya).

While you don't need a blender, I'd recommend a shaker, like the Tupperware shaker or the one from GNC. I find this blends well with a variety of ingredients. You may enjoy making your own shake variations in the blender. This powder tastes best when blended with very cold orange juice.

This is my favorite flavor. A little sweet, so I add more rice milk than is called for. I use a blender bottle to mix my shakes and it leaves no clumps. Shaking the shakes in a cup rather than stirring helps to mix them better. Just a FYI

I like using double the milk or juice because it makes the shake much more palatable and decreases the taste of Whey. I prefer the taste of soy protein, but this shake has many benefits and the whey taste is hardly noticeable.

Whey is a highly respected source of branched-chain amino acids. The amino acids found in this product include: Isoleucine, Histidine, Leucine, Arginine, Lysine, Aspartic Acid, Methionine, Serine, Cysteine, Glutamic Acid, Threonine, Proline, Phenylalanine, Glycine, Tryptophan, Alanine, Valine and Tyrosine.

Some spirutein flavors are really great. This one is not.
It really does taste and smell like children's chewable aspirin.
It has yucky orange colored chunks that don't dissolve and they taste even worse than the drink itself.
I won't buy this flavor again.

I mix it with 10 oz orange juice, a banana, a couple of ice cubes and it is soooo good. Great for breakfast or a snack, actually great for anytime. :)

While this seems to be a good product that is seemingly full of vitamins and nutrients that your body needs.. NOTHING beats eating whole foods. I have tried every shake this company has to offer and I can honestly tell you that they are very difficult to mix with liquid!! Very difficult. I even went so far to buy a little elect blender and still the powder sticks to everything. It's very hard to clean as well after I mix it. It is very thick and I have to soak whatever vessel I use for a long time. I haven't seen anything this hard to mix and blend EVER! I do not feel full after I drink this product and it does not make me feel any better than I did before I drank it. I would not consider this a dietary replacement for any meal. If you are trying to lose weight or become healthy I would reccomend that you buy a juicer and eat sensible meals. Most people who are overweight lack essential vitamins and minerals and have way too much hunger as a result. If you give your body the real vitamins it needs,. you will not be hungry. It's that simple. There is no quick cure for ANYTHING!! No powder drink is going to help you.. think about what the process is to turn something to a powder. It defies common sense to think that a powder can give you good health. You must eat and drink to have good health..real food and NOTHING else. All you have to do is eat/drink real food. Have your ice cream and your steak but also EAT REAL FOOD!!!!!!!! I'm a complete junk food idiot and I know that much.. but I juice apples, celery, carrots, pears twice a day and drink that juice and I eat at least 3 vegatables a day. I'm not suffering and I feel great.
