Bought it for over the summer because i had to do some work in some unsavory areas. never had to use it but it was nice to have it within easy reach of my keys. Over time though the plastic part tends to detach easier but it still holds. Great buy if you need a little extra peace of mind (especially if you have no concealed carry weapon laws or you just don't want to carry a handgun).
