Delightfully entertaining way to learn about llamas.,
By margie.and.dusty@pdq.net (Katy, Texas USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Stop Spitting at Your Brother! Life Lessons of a Rocky Mountain Llama (Paperback)
This is the first book I have ever read that was written by a llama. I really enjoyed the insight into his life history and the world from his eyes as told to his author friend. The book is a good children's book but is also much more. It is an entertaining way for anyone to learn about the personalities, uses for and care of llamas. I hope to have a couple of llamas someday and am trying to learn more about them. I think anyone interested in llamas would enjoy this light-hearted, true-life story of two llamas and their extended family.

This book holds special interest for folks of all ages. Those persons with no knowledge of these magnificent animals are instructed, through tales and humor, of how llamas think and why they respond as they do. Persons who have experience with llamas can identify traits of their own llamas throughout Dudley's story. It is fun and entertaining reading.

Positive Lifestyle Happenings through the eyes of a Llama!,

This one is my favorite! Sharing valued stories of life lessons, Dudley, the Rocky Mountain Llama, gives us insight on day to day happenings. I've had the pleasure of meeting this author in Indianapolis as she travels to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado each summer. Although a children's book, the entire family will enjoy this author's creative way of writing the positive along with the personalities and habits of the llama species. Also a wonderful way to learn about this loveable member of the camelid species!

I heard about the book when my teacher read part of it to us. It was really good. Diane White-Crane her self came to our school and talked about it.

This is a wonderful children's book that parents will enjoy, too. It teaches lessons of tolerance and family spirit. The llamas are characters that everyone can relate to.

Not what I expected,

This review is from: Stop Spitting at Your Brother! Life Lessons of a Rocky Mountain Llama (Paperback)
I expected this book to be a little more story like, i.e. no "technical references", but it was a good book nonetheless. A very interesting read.

Laugh Out Loud,
By Kim D Anderson (Colorado) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Stop Spitting at Your Brother! Life Lessons of a Rocky Mountain Llama (Paperback)
I read this book to my two children, and it made all three of us laugh out loud! There aren't many books which our whole family can enjoy, but this was one of them. There was something of value and humor for each of us, although we are very different ages. I recommend other familes enjoy this title.
