We got this from amazon a few years ago. However the handle didn't last through the first season. But the net is still just as strong as ever. Even the kids like to use it without the handle, while in the pool and for that I am pleased. Of course you can easlily adapt any pole or handle to fit it if you like.

This net was cheap, but I was only planning to use it for one season. The handle broke after just one use. We're still using the net part of it, but we have to get in the pool to use it.

Broke upon first use. The plastic is so cheap it can't even withstand the surface tension of the water.

First time I used the thing the handle broke out of it. And I was being very careful and not applying alot of pressure either.Now I'm just using the thing as a hand held net!! I feel like I wasted my money!!

flimsy pole that has broken in 2 places from very gentle, normal use.
put the money towards something a little better

Don't even bother buying this or you'll be throwing

Purchased this skimmer and it has broken in two different places in a little over three weeks. Using on a 10 x 30 pool so I am not giving it a real hard workout. My guidance, look for a better skimmer....

I received this yesterday. I was very pleased with the way the pole connects--you can make the pole longer or shorter. It's a sturdy net and a great price value. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have purchased several of these to keep my hot tub clean. The handle does break after a while at the screw-in fitting. I use the skimmer with only one handle section at a time (comes with four). Just the right size to skim while you are in the spa. When it breaks after about six to nine months, I just remove the broken fitting and screw in another section. Have been doing this for five years. Not a bad deal at this price.
