This was the first book I ever on this exquisite art, and I bought it waaaaaaaaay back when I was a teenager. I now own many books, magazines, and CDs about this art, belong to both the guild and the mailing list, etc. -- but this remains my personal favorite. The eggs shown are gorgeous and widely varied, and the directions are very clear. You can't go wrong with this book; although a fraction of the cost of most books on the subject, it remains without peer.

I found this book to be an excellent source of inspiration and instuction in the art of egg decoratiing. I am a rank beginner and I found this book to be extremely helpful. Ms. Disney explains in detail all phases of decorating. Whether you are interested in doing detailed carving, or simple embleshment you will find this book helpful and informative. I only wish there were more color photos.

Bought this book, arrived in perfect condition long before the estimated time. A splendid book for anyone who would like to try to do their own decorative eggs. Very helpfull for a total beginner who cannot get to Ëgg Decorating classes. Photos and expained drawings very easy to follow. Will definately recommend it. Although one can get a gadget to mark the half of the egg, the explanation to mark your cutting lines are very helpful en the drawings explains it step by step.
