This book was great when it was published, and it's discussion of (and recipe support for) the "FAT FAST" still makes it a valuable book, but new developments in low carb baking, specifically for those of us shunning Wheat and all Gluten, has meant that even the author has updated her later books to reflect these new developments. The recipes in her older cookbooks do use High-Gluten/protein wheat products, which is not recommended for low carb cooking, though a majority of Low-Carbers have still to fully accept this new trend. Her newer very popular "Low-Carbing among Friends" series of Cookbooks do reflect these changes in thinking (none use Wheat or Gluten) and as such they are the logical place to start for serious low-carbers nowadays.
