excellent reference text for splinting. very recommended! there is ample amount of info to help even the beginner make a decent splint, and it is an excellent resource for the advanced practitioner! buy it!!

I had previously use this text at another employer and greatly missed it when I changed jobs! There is an excellent review of the muscles, nerves, etc that makes for a quick and easy reference!! The splinting section is also very helpful!

The book exceeded my expectations with content, great to be spiral bound which makes it useful practically. However the paper quality was disappointing - very thin, which could be a problem if the book was splashed with water - likely with a splint pan. Also, there weren't many patterns for neoprene supports.
Overall a good buy, despite this.

This is an excellent reference guide for splinting. It provides great information about various medical diagnoses that require splinting, and how to fabricate the splint. It is quite appropriate for both novice and expert therapists.
