Slpish Splash is a wonderful beginner reading book. Chub the fish enjoys sitting in his tub and when ten of his friends want to come in chub says "jump in if you wish". But can a tub so small hold them all? The story is fun for beginner readers and Ashley Wolff's illustrations add colorful and playful fun that beginner readers and non-readers will enjoy looking at time and again. My five year old enjoys reading it and my 2 and a half year old just likes to hear the story and look at the pictures! A fun, beautiful book!

With Splish Splash Sarah Weeks has written a charming story that beginner readers will want to read over and over again. Ashley Wolff's illustrations are a delight. The colorful animal characters capture the eyes and imaginations of young readers and pre-readers. My six ear old enjoys reading the story while my 3 year old enjoys looking at the picutures again and again.

My husband and I bought this book for our 20-month old grandson. He listens attentively to the entire book when we sit down to read to him. He loves the pictures of the animals. We highly recommend Splish, Splash!

artistry gave us all a giggle.

This book was purchased for my grandson who is 5 and in kindergarten. On a recent visit to his home I read the book with him and helped him prepare a report
for his class. It was an experience we both enjoyed. The book was well within his current reading capabilities and he especially enjoyed the humor.

The young children I teach enjoy this story. It's one of those how-many-animals-will-fit-in-the (bathtub, in this case) books. Very repetitive, so it's easy for children to follow along and understand. When the words "and they splish and they splash and they splash and they splish" are repeated, you and put the book down and make rhythmic splashing motions with your left and right hands as you repeat the words. CHildren like to "splash along" and it gets them more involved.

Nothing fancy to say here. I got exactly what I expected...a brand new book in perfect condition.

"And they splish and they splash, and they splash and the splish." Repeated a few times it may seem a little annoying, but for my child, it's what makes the book fun. A bunch of animals all want in the tub, but Chub the fish is running out of space in his...but more keep coming, and they all keep splishing and splashing.

Of the dozen or so "learn reading" books I've purchased, this has been on of the favorites...up there with Morris Goes to School (I Can Read Book 1). Would recommend this book to others!

I bought this book for my grandson. He is beginning to read & he loves books.

This book is a nice gift for your grandchildren just starting school. Easy to read and they can test how well they are doing.
