Dale Crover solo? Well, Dave Grohl did it!, July 29, 2003

This album is great! Melvins fans should really enjoy this side project from their own Dale Crover. A bit like his 'Dale Crover' solo Melvins CD, this flat out rocks. His Melvins solo CD gave us an indication of what he could do. Maybe he was also inspired by Foo Fighter/ Nirvana guy Dave Grohl's successfull leading of a band, and dicided he'd have a go at it. He plays guitar here mostly, ala Grohl in his Foo Fighter role. This is definitely the more rocking side of the Melvins, and not the sludgy side too much. I actually dont have my copy anymore, so I can't do an in depth song by song analysis right now. Bottom line: take my advice, Melvins/Foo/Nirvana fans, and seek this one out!
