This review is from: Split CD (Audio CD)
Although this CD might be hard to find (since it was only released in Europe), or it might take forever to ship, it is absolutely worth it all. This Split EP packs a melodic punk frenzy. The first three songs (by Ten Foot Pole) are absolutely amazing. With Walkin' to open it, you already know this album is gonna be awesome. Tunnel's End makes its statement with a crunchy guitar riff, going 3000 beats per minute. But what really makes this album worth it, is Gnarly Charlie. This song is extremely well written, both lyrically and musically. This song still sends chills down my spine. Onto Satanic Surfers, who open their three song set with Truck Driving Punk, which is about getting crazily drunk. The strong points with Satanic Surfers are the fast beats, the excellent bass lines, and the metal-style guitar solos/riffs. Both Equal Rights and Your Perfect World are excellent songs, with powerful vocals about society and how we should treat people with respect. Overall, Six songs = awesome punk rock. The best EP to come out in years, and this CD came out 7 years ago.
