This review is from: Split (Audio CD)
Note on production: I have this on gold vinyl, and the guitars come through a little bit over-fuzzed. The CD version probably sounds better.

Death Threat brings forth their standard brand of groove-leaning hardcore, about halfway between Madball and Hatebreed minus the chug mosh. The vocals aren't as abrasive as some of the newer metalcore bands; you can understand the words most of the time. Lyrically, it's about the joys of hardcore and the trials of life. Their stage presence is great.

Over My Dead Body offers up some comparatively old-school leaning hardcore with melodic guitar work, lots of "crew" sing-alongs, and more positivity. Vocals are also very understandable most of the time.

This split is not very expensive so if you're a fan of one of the bands, and while it won't blow you away, it is worth picking up.
