Product Description

Quintessential Elmore Leonard, Split Images stars Palm Beach playboy Robbie Daniels. He's the kind of guy who gets away with everything -- even murder -- until a vacationing Motown cop, Bryan Hurd, starts asking questions. When this millionaire reptile reveals the psychopath beneath his slippery skin, Hurd finds out this is one helluva way for an out-of-town lawman to spend his vacation.

This review is from: Split Images: A Novel by (Kindle Edition)
I was able to find redeeming qualities in almost all the characters. One strange thing that I got hung up on though: Robbie (to me) seemed more like a name for the cop/turned body guard because Robbie seems like a name that belongs to a person that is bumbling and somewhat oafish (as Walter is). Walter seems like the name of a successful business man. It took me till midway through this book to be able to distinguish between Robbie and Walter.
I know some complained about the love story (didn't seem realistic) - on the contrary - it happens all the time in real life - some people just have CHEMISTRY. It was totally believable to me.
Awesome ending, somewhat killer. HA.
