An excellent introduction to object relations theory,

This book was my introduction to object relations theory and inspired an epiphany in understanding personality disorders. I subsequently tried to read other books on object relations and failed. Mansfield makes heavy theoritical material understandable for therapists who don't have strong backgrounds in dynamic or analytical orientations.
