Product Description

Sophisticated design, high quality and traditional look and shape all describe Spode's Judaica Collection. The designs are interpreted from historic Jewish manuscripts from the 1800's which were based on early tile motifs influenced by prevailing Persian styles. The designs respectfully feature blue and white, the colors of the flag of Israel. The dominant motif is of stylized flowers and vines interwoven on most pieces amongst the straight edged Star of David. The Mezuzah Case hold the Mezuzah, a hand written parchment scroll with two chapters from the Torah in Hebrew. The case and its contents are affixed to the doorpost of a Jewish home.

Ah, no. The Shin is the first letter of one of G-d's names. It might say Shalom inside, under, around back or on the box but it doesn't say so on the item in the picture.
