A pale, creamy green with a dark-green border, each plate features a beautifully detailed painting of a trimmed Christmas tree topped with a Father Christmas figurine. The set comes gift-boxed for a pretty presentation; not only would a collector of the Spode Christmas Tree pattern be thrilled to receive these plates, but so would anyone who still thrills to the festive trappings of Christmas. Made of high-quality earthenware, these plates are dishwasher- and microwave-safe. To extend the life of the plates, however, it is best to avoid rapid temperature changes, such as reheating a plate in the microwave that's been moved directly from the refrigerator. I was very pleased. Of course Spode china is an excellent product, it
had very strong and protective packaging, and the price was good. I hope to purchase more items in this pattern during the course of the year as I feel it is worthwhile investment which I think my sons will enjoy inheriting someday.

I am very pleased with my Spode Christmas Tree Dinner plates. They are a classic dinner plate and they add a touch of nostalgia to Christmas dinner with family. I have a set of 12 dinner plates that will one day be passed to my daughter to use at Christmas when she has a family of her own.
