Beautiful glasses that add sparkle and elegance to a Christmas table. They are just the right size and can be used for several beverages during the holiday season. They are certainly a charming addition to a set of Spode Christmas Tree dinnerware.

These double old fashion Spode glasses are not what they used to be. Overall, Spode quality seems to have gone down with being manufactured in China. We have a pretty extensive set of Spode that we use during the holidays and really just wanted to round out our set with eight new dof glasses. They really look nothing like the four we had. The picture on Amazon is true to life. The tree is right down there at the very bottom of the glass (I guess I was hoping the picture was not accurate). It looks kind of stupid if you are used to the old glasses with the tree higher on the glass. Also, the glass itself has way more bubbles in it and is much lighter with a very thin base. One of the sets we received had a broken glass in it and I presume Amazon will do a good job with the exchange.

I ordered these glasses to add to my collection. However, they are cheap imitations of my original Spode glasses. First of all, the Xmas tree "decals" on these new ones are faded & matted in color compared to the original. Also, they are placed lower on the glass rather haphazardly compared to the original. They are not the same Spode glasses and I was so very disappointed. Same was true for the wine glasses which I ordered from Amazon. Poor quality compared to original. I did not return them because we were having a holiday party and I needed these glasses. They were better than nothing, but certainly not the original Spode glasses which we have loved over the years!
