I decided to upgrade for Passover last Spring. I looked for as much of the Spode pieces for Passover as I could find after looking for a week or so for a design we liked. Artistic but traditional, and something that looks like it has been used for 100 years. The Spode Matzah Plate, the dishes featuring a Magen Dawid and Mazel Tov were perfect for more than Passover, the Kiddush Cup, and the Seder Plate. There are other pieces to collect, and you won't find them all at Amazon or any one seller. But all this stuff is beautiful and matches perfectly. As a single piece not so much since it is distinctive enough to not match just anything you grab up. I'd like to see it in a lighter color but if you know anything about Spode stuff, and I don't know much, it's all this color. So....But a light blue or turquoise (like tkeilet) would be nice. But these, including this matzah plate, will be used for many years, b'siyata d'shamaya, we stay to enjoy them.
