This is definitely a great album even though the recordings are from different time periods. If you are wondering which album of theirs to purchase first this is a very good place to start.

Love the Corries. Folk music is my favorite genre and the Corries bring the music of Scotland home to America.

The material is as fresh today as when the duo were touring. These songs come alive when sung with such heartfelt emotion. Anyone with a wee bit of Scottish blood will long to be in the country that produced such storied songs and singers.
