5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST SPONGEBOB DVD!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Spongebob going downhill...
I have 2 reasons why I'm giving this a 1 star. The first reason is because these episodes are not so good. And karate Island is one of the worst episodes in the whole series. The other reason is why would someone by this when you could by the first part of spongebob season 4? It has the same episodes and a lot more. The price is also better, If you buy this, you have...

5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST SPONGEBOB DVD!!, July 21, 2006
This review is from: SpongeBob SquarePants - Karate Island (DVD)
I love these new episodes. They have great graphics and story. Here's a list of episodes and what I think of them:

Squidbob Tentacalepants: 8/10 Due to Sandy's invention, Spongebob and Squidward get conjoined together. At Squidward's clarinet concert, everyone likes them for their body, but then Sandy changes them back and everyone hates them!

Krusty Towers: 10/10 The best on here. Spongebob and Squidward come to work to find that Mr. Krabs turned the Krusty Krab into a hotel! Patrick comes and Mr. Krabs makes Squidward attend his every service. Later, the whole place crashes down.

Mrs. Puff, you're Fired!: 9/10 The driving association comes and tells Mrs. Puff that if she fails Spongebob one more time, she will get replaced. Mrs. Puff gets fired of course and Spongebob gets a mean driving dude. Spongebob memorizes the course and does it blindfolded for 6 weeks! At the final test, Spongebob can't do it without his blindfold.

Ghost Host: 6/10 The Flying Dutchman stays at Spongebob's house because of boat accidents. TFD scares Spongebob every second and Spongebob grows tired of it and isn't scared. Spongebob helps TFD get his scary back.

Wihing You Well: 10/10 Mr. krabs installs a wishing wall next to the Krusty Krab. He tells Spongebob to stay down there and take the falling money and give it to Mr. Krabs. Sandy, Mrs. Puff, and Plankton make wishes. Soon, Patrick and Squidward fall in and they dig to the magic and everyone's wishes come true.

Karate Island: 9/10 Spongebob gets an invitation to Karate Island where he is crowned King of Karate by this Chinese guy. The Chinese Guy traps Spongebob and Sandy comes to save him and battles four opponents to save Spongebob. It turns out that the Chinese Guy was real estate!

New Leaf: 8/10 Plankton gives up trying to steal the Krabby Patty formula and turns the Chum Bucket into a souvenir shop. Mr. Krabs thinks that he's trying to fake it. Plankton and Mr. Krabs apolagize and have fun together. Later, Mr. Krabs finally realizes that Plankton gave up and gives him the formula. He goes crazy and opens it up and it says GOTCHA! -Mr. Krabs!

I would totally get this DVD if I were you.

This review is from: SpongeBob SquarePants - Karate Island (DVD)
I have 2 reasons why I'm giving this a 1 star. The first reason is because these episodes are not so good. And karate Island is one of the worst episodes in the whole series. The other reason is why would someone by this when you could by the first part of spongebob season 4? It has the same episodes and a lot more. The price is also better, If you buy this, you have to pay 13.49$ for 7 episodes, but if you buy the first part of spongebob season 4, you have to pay 18.99 for 20 episodes and 2 of them are double length episodes. If you want these episodes and more buy part 1 of season 4.

5.0 out of 5 stars Whale of a Birthday/Karate Island, September 21, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: SpongeBob SquarePants - Karate Island (DVD)
I LOVED to watch "Whale of a Birthday" and "Karate Island" on TV! It was SO cool!! "Whale of a Birthday" was great! It was about Pearl having her 16th birthday, but at school--

PEARL (Walks up to her friends): Hey guys! You coming to my 16th birthday party?
PEARL'S FRIEND: Gee, I don't know Pearl. Remember when you Dad gave out paper clips as party favors? (All of Pearl's friends laugh) Remember when everyone had to share one balloon? Please! Remember that pony ride? I can't wait to see how he ruins it this year. (All of Pearl's friends laugh again. Pearl runs out of school, crying and is heading to the Krusty Krab)
PEARL (Sobbing): Daddy...!

Pearl made a list full of things that she wants for her party! Such as a band called, "Boys Who Cry". But her Dad has other (lame) ideas...

"Karate Island" was AWESOME! That episode was funny and had action in it! It was great seeing Sandy wearing that yellow suit with a black stripe in it that looked a lot like the bride's in "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" (Except that her's had a visible zipper and patches on it, unlike Sandy's)! And it was cool when Sandy was doing a chanting thing while doing signals with her hands and breaks the cage that she was trapped in! You should definatley record these two episodes on tape when it comes out sometime on your TV!

NOTE: When Sandy kicks Master Udon out of the tower and lands in the ocean and defeats him- This is similar to "Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior", when Wendy and Shin both at the same time defeat Yan-Lo by kicking him into crates. That part was even in slow motion on both "Karate Island" and "Wendy Wu"!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good DVD and Good Series, April 21, 2008
This review is from: SpongeBob SquarePants - Karate Island (DVD)
My little nephew loves this series, and I finally sat down to watch this DVD with him. I can see why just about everyone would love Spongebob who is charming, happy, clever, fair, and all around wonderful. This particular DVD has about eight episodes. Our favorite was Krusty Towers where Mr. Crabs opens a hotel. We just about split our sides laughing. This is fun and as far as I can tell not bad for kids. I think Spongebob sets a good example because he is so friendly and helpful.
