First of all, let me just say that I am a big Spongebob fan. We were in a different state at the time, and I needed something to do in the car/hotel. We saw this game, and we purchased it so I would have something to do. I wasn't disappointed. This game is a good game to keep you entertained for long periods of time.

Plot:

Plankton's cousins come to the Krusty Krab to learn how to cook so that Spongebob and the Krusty Krab can win the Beach Party Cook-off. Plankton refuses his family members' help, so the Krusty Krab hires the planktons, at below minimum wage, of course. You know Mr. Krabs, always trying to save money.

Gameplay:

Each shift consists of 7 or more dishes that must be completed (the further you are in the game, the more items you cook in a shift). There are 4 stations. The planktons come to each station to complete a task. At each station, there is a supervisor. These include Sandy, Patrick, and Squidward. When a plankton cannot complete a step of a dish, Spongebob(you) must step in to help them. As the planktons prepare the dishes over and over, they are perfected. Then, you have the option to make the dish "deluxe". And, as each skill is repeated(grind, garnish, stir, etc.), they are perfected as well. There are 5 episodes in the game. Every 3 shifts there is a challenge in which Spongebob must complete a dish with the rating that is required(OK, Perfect).



I recommend this game to any Spongebob fan. But, if you do not like using the DS stylus pen, I would not recommend this game as most of the actions performed in this game are done using the stylus.

This game is not only fun it's actually extremely boring & tedious as well, there are children's DS titles for 1/3 the price that are far better than this. The game itself which consists of chopping veggies, meat prep for burgers , stirring soups, etc. This title should have been a mini-game within the game, but somehow they managed to play it off as a full game, disgraceful. If you can find a used copy for 5 dollars or so it may be worth it to a big Spongebob fan, otherwise save your money.

This game is one of the best games I have played.You get to help Plankton's cousins cook food to win the Beach Party Cook-Off.Just don't choose Hard.Its very difficult.I recommend you choose Easy or Medium.I recommend you buy this game.It's worth the money.

My 7-year old daughter is a big SpongeBob fan, and she absolutely loves this game! It was easy to learn and very fun. She thinks it's the best game ever, and likes the fact that she could win game money for the Krusty Krab. Her favorite part was when one of the workers needed help. It's a great game for SpongeBob fans of all ages!

Bought this for my son for CHristmas. He says its a fun game. He gets to build Crabby Patties. Got here quickly.

This was purchased for my son at Christmas. It's a fun game. He loves it. It was shipped expediently and packaged professionally. Will use seller again.
