once you get pretty far in this game it gets VERY DIFFICULT. I hope this review isn't deceiving. If you enjoy Spongebob and have seen the movie, you will really like this game as I do, as hard as it tends to become. Perhaps it's because getting near the end of the game is the toughest challenge. Then the levels will seem almost impossible to beat. You'll see what I mean if you're planning on getting this game. Anyway, it's pretty good. You get the idea that it follows the exact same story, though. The game has realistic graphics and it could get involved if you let it. 4 and half stars overall.

I have been playing this game since THanksgiving. You can unlock so many new challenges, moves, and you can even drive the patty wagon! on the first level they walk you thu and teach you how to do moves. I love that it keeps me busy! My favorite level is Welcome to Planktoploios because its so chanenging! Im still trying to defet King Neptune. you need to unfreeze mr krab. if you aer looking for an adventure thats full of action and challenge, buy this game!!!

this game is good not too hard and not too confusing but i think you have to work at it to beat it and sometimes you have to time everything

My son who is 5 loves this game. It is entertaining on his level, I'd compare it to the Cat in the Hat game which he also loves very much. It is difficult to find fun games that are easy enough for a 5yr old and this one is definitly a good one. He hasn't stopped playing it yet : )

Please note: At first I was going to give this a bad review because enemies kept firing down on us. Apparently we needed a special upgrade to send the shots flying back to the enemies.

My little brother wanted to get this game because he loved the SpongeBob movie. He sometimes uses his spare time to play this game, and I enjoy playing this game as well.

Likes:

-You can play as either SpongeBob or Patrick, each with their own special abilities.

-In certain levels, you can drive vehicles like the Patty Wagon or the bathtub.

-There are hidden treasure chests. Collect them to unlock certain things like art galleries or sound tracks.

-With enough points, you can use special upgrades.

-You can go back to certain levels to see if there's anything you missed.

-My little brother thinks the final boss is easier than most levels. Turn over the tables while avoiding King Neptune's shots. When King Neptune gets angry and fires lasers at you, hide behind Mr. Krabs. King Neptune should get dazed. While he's dazed, hit the bucket helmet with the Sonic Jam Guitar. Keep doing this until the bucket helmet breaks off.

Dislikes:

-When you complete the challenges for vehicles, it may be hard to look for treasure chests, due to the time limit.

-Patrick's throw upgrade is hard to control. You have to tap lightly on the trigger in order for Patrick to throw normally.

Overall, 4 stars. If you liked the movie, you might like this game.

I found this to be more difficult than the other SpongeBob games, mainly due to the "driving" challenges. They take a long time to master and I think there are too many of them throughout the game. Don't get me wrong, I like a good challenge but the driving gets so frustrating (especially the Patty Wagon) you feel like giving up. I couldn't wait to get the driving challenge over with and get to the next level. Unlike Battle for Bikini Bottom, you weren't able to go back to completed levels easily.

I'm glad I rented it instead of buying it.

This game is hours of fun. It is a little unlike the movie and has some hard mini-games but is well worth the money. There is no blood no guns no graphic deaths and no graphic weapons, only silly stuff like bowling bombs and watermelons. Probably for ages 4+.

i think that spongebob the movie may be the most funny, charming, addictive, and kid friendly game of the year. i am also having alot of fun with it, and i am 9. this game is very entertaining, and has levels that younger kids will love playing over again. however, there can be some frustirating levels that even i have difficulty with. overall, i think that this is a great game for kids young and old.

Its a little like the movie and the game is really fun to play if u want a game that can keep a child occupied for a while get this game.

I'm 13, and I have the game. I'm on the Now That Wer're Men level, and you have to have 20 goofy goober tokens just to play the level! The frustrating part is Sandwich Driving 101, where you go through the rings! Another hard part is the level rub a dub dub, slip slide in the tub, and you have to go through the rings. some of the combat arena challenges get frustrating, but overall, this game is challenging, and will keep you entertained for hours!
