I was provided a copy of this game for review as I run a Mom blog titled "the Night Owl Mama". My son is 6 yr old and my daughter 11. My kids couldn't wait to jump right in and play this game when it arrived. You can play one or two players at the same time. The game provides a video tutorial to position your feet properly while playing the game. There are plenty of levels to unlock as you master the one's before but so far were still stuck in the first 3. The skate boarding game is the most fun as it's visually more appealing and requires a bit more movement other than foot position and leaning which is so much more fun for kids. My 6 yr old prefers the Skate Board game with the obstacle course over the surfing because the surfing is a lot like the obstacle course in Kinect adventures game just not much more too it than that. Surf and gather coins for points. Sponge Bob and Patrick give fun commentary during the game which makes it even a bit comical. Quick play mode is the preferred mode for my kids although there is another story mode which you can chose what your characters wear and board of preference. If your a Fan of Sponge Bob and want to ride the waves as Sponge Bob (or Patrick) or skate the turnpike this game is for you. No other equipment needed just Kinect and the game. Remember this is all virtual so no board needed. It's all on screen movements.

Really could be the worst set up on kinect i've seen so far. It's ultra low sensativity and problems with menus are awful sucks that i bought it online and its a pain to return...
