5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best self-improvements books I have read.
Sponteneous Optimism is a well-written inspiration. The authors of this book put together easy to do tips and techniques that has taken my life to a better place. I've recommended it alot.

1.0 out of 5 stars Is that all there is?
This is not the book that i was looking for to help me to conquer a less than optimistic outlook on the world. I've read and own hundreds of books on various subjects and this is the literary runt of the litter. Insight? I've read better on bathroom walls. Skip it or better yet, read it in the store and make up your own mind. Fluff.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reshape Your Outlook On Life, March 13, 2006
This review is from: Spontaneous Optimism: Proven Strategies for Health, Prosperity & Happiness (Paperback)
I can't seem to pass by a self-improvement book. Seems like there is always some gem of inspiration that I find in each.
Here's what M.J. Ryan who wrote THE HAPPINESS MAKEOVER said about the book in her daily Happiness Booster email:
"Now I know I probably sound like your mother, but motivational speakers Drs. Michael Mercer and Maryann Troiani, authors of Spontaneous Optimism, claim that if you learn to keep your head up, shoulders back and chest out, you'll feel better. "[W}hen you slouch, your mood takes somewhat of a dive. When you notice that, immediately straighten up. That is your first step to boost your mood." See for yourself."

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, self-help that makes sense, September 13, 1999

This tape, and the authors' book, is one of the few self-help books I read that gives advise that is not fluff. It offers practical and unique ways to make your mood and life improved. I thank them both.
