I have looked in a few stores and never found a deal like this. For the price you get a very wide selection of embroidery thread. They do not tangle coming off the spool while in use. After I'm done using the spool I'll put a very small piece of tape to hold the running end of the thread.

These threads were great to use. These spools have a built in keeper for loose ends - the bottom expands to reveal a groove to put the end of the thread in - then snaps shut to hold the end snug. This took me a bit to figure out, but once I did, the thread stayed on the spool better. Thus far no colors have ran when washed. Looking at buying the entire set. I started with the 40 colors.

I am new to embroidering and in the process of building up my supplies. The shipment I received was timely and was received in great shape. The colors are positively beautiful. The feel of the thread is strong and from what little embroidery I've done using these spools has been very good. I haven't washed anything yet, so I can't verify that the colors are in fact colorfast. But I'm assuming that won't be a problem. I was a little confused because the spools were advertised as 260 spools of thread each being 550 yards. When I received them, the product actually said 500 meters. It took me a while to realize both meters and yards was being used and at first I thought I had been shorted 50 yards per spool. But 500 meters is equal to 550 yards. Just a little confusing is all. My biggest problem was finding the beginning of the thread. About two thirds of the spools were easy. But the other third, I had to really hunt for it, trying not to damage the thread as I tried to find the beginning. Also, once the beginning is found, there's no way to keep it from unwinding. Rather than cut into the plastic spool, I purchased some clear vinyl, cut it into strips and used that to wrap around the spool and tame the wandering thread.

So far, for the price charged, I'd say I got a bargain. But I did have several hours of work to get all the spools ready for use.

I just received my order and was pleasantly surprised as to how quickly it arrived. The threads were all neatly packaged and numbered. It took less than 1/2 hour using the numbers to research online and find the name of the manufacturer, a color chart, and a website to convert colors between manufacturers. I'm looking forward to doing a lot more machine embroidery now that I've found a source of thread at a reasonable price.

The product exceeded my expectations in quality and color variety. The supplier also exceeded my expectations in service. The item was shipped on time and correctly packaged.

A fantastic variety of colours - so inspiring! The grandchildren keep wanting to choose more and more colours for many different embroidery items on their clothes and toys.

Just received my order. Love the assortment of colors. Would like to have a color chart included with the shipment.
