Raw, sexy and oh so good, January 22, 2009

I was given Wallis' album by my irish DJ mate who knew my style of music (blues/rock/funk) and was promised I wouldn't be disappointed. I certainly wasn't. It usually takes a few listens to grab my attention but this album but this album has some tracks that will have you in her world without you knowing. Tracks like 'Counting to Sleep', 'Blossoms in the Street' and my personal favourite 'Moodsets' and rocky/funky and some great guitar licks. On the other hand, she has plenty of smoothly, sultry and beautiful songs to soothe any hardcore rocker's edge. 'All for you'...say no more. A brilliant album and much cherished in my collection
