This mug is more decorative than useful. Because it is ceramic, the lip of the mug is necessarily thicker than an aluminum mug would be. Add to that the additional bulk of the spill resistant top and it makes drinking out of the mug a tricky enterprise. Also, ceramic is breakable and heavier, too. If you drop it, it will break. Since I collect mugs and cups from all over, and am a cat lover (I have four beautiful cats), I'm happy just putting it in my collection.

I have had so many compliments on this mug. It is absolutely beautiful. It also holds a good amount of coffee and keeps my coffee warmer longer than my other similar mugs. It is very thick and well made. The artwork on it is excellent and I just love this mug.
