Jackie Spanitz is the director of curriculum development for Aviation Supplies & Academics, Inc. She is the technical editor of the Test Prep series and the author of Commercial Pilot Syllabus, Guide to the Biennial Flight Review, Instrument Rating Syllabus, and Private Pilot Syllabus. She lives in Everett, Washington. Paul Hamilton is a pilot with more than 30 years of experience. He has worked as an aeronautical mechanics engineer, specializing in design, analysis, and flight testing. He is the founder of Adventure Productions and the producer of more than 40 films on ultralight and light-sport aircraft. He lives in Reno, Nevada.
