This review is from: Sport Psychiatry: Theory and Practice (Hardcover)
I'm very glad I ordered this book. It is well rounded & clinically useful. It covers all age groups, which is important as the very young children are being exposed to sports at an earlier age, and older adults as they are living longer, active lives. It also discusses multiple treatment modalities, addiction in athletes, & physiology of exercise & injury. I've recommended it to PM&R and physical therapists, as well.

Drs. Begel and Burton provide an insightful compendium on the psyche of athletes of all levels. No student of sports should miss this volume.
