If you want to exercise more but don't have the time for a regimented program, the SportBrain Personal Fitness Assistant might be the solution for you. The small, lightweight SportBrain clips to the waistline of your pants or skirt and measures the number of steps you take. You then snap the SportBrain into the SportPort (much like a PDA's synchronization cradle). Connect the SportPort to your telephone line. The SportPort automatically dials in to the SportBrain Web servers and uploads your activity in a little over a minute.

You can then log into your customized Web page with your PC to see an overview of your latest activity through numbers and pictures, step totals, weekly graphs, and detailed graphs.

The two-pack is ideal for couples or training partners and includes a four-pack of SportFaces so you can change the color of your SportBrain to match your outfit. Colors included in this pack are smoke, onyx, amethyst, and storm.

The SportBrain operates on one CR2032 battery and comes with a one-year warranty.

These little brains are a lot of fun. I not only purchased them for me and my partner but also for my mom and dad and another couple. What we are doing is having a competition each month to see which team walks the farthest. The team with the least amount of steps treats the others to a healthy dinner! Not only can you keep track of your own steps but you can watch what your friends are doing too. So if you see that your competition is getting ahead of you you can do your best to catch up. The sportbrain website keeps track of all kinds of stats and provides you with graphs and information. They also have their own contests that you can enter to win prizes. This is a great way to get in shape or keep in shape and have the little brain help you along the way:)

My husband and I have had our Sportbrains since April, and we love them! I have more than a few extra pounds to lose, and know that exercise is the key to losing the extra weight. My husband thought it would just be another piece of exercise equipment bought with good intentions, but rarely used. Was he ever wrong! I have finally found something that motivates me daily. It's the first thing I put on in the morning and the last thing I take off at night, because I don't want to miss any steps. I love everything about my Sportbrain. I love the design and the different colored Sportfaces to match my outfits, telling people about it when they ask what I'm wearing on the waistband of my pants, and most of all I love how it's increased my activity level. It couldn't be simpler to use. Just clip it on the waistband of your pants or belt and start stepping (walking). Anytime (or several times) during the day or night you simply put the Sportbrain into it's little Sportport and transmit the data to the website via a phone line. Everything you'd want to know is then displayed for you on your own home page within Sportbrain's site. There are charts that show you how many steps you've taken for the day, week, and month at a glance, and much more. I find myself wanting to get out and walk for at least ten minutes just to see that I've had a "Sportivity." I like gadgets, but not if they are too complicated or time consuming. If it takes me more time to enter all the data into a computer or hand held device than it does for me to chart it on a piece of paper then the gadget is not for me. That's the great thing about Sportbrain. All I have to do is put the Sportbrain in the Sportport and voila! The rest is done for me. If my Sportbrain were ever to be lost or taken away I think I'd need a 12-step group, because I am seriously addicted.
