5.0 out of 5 stars sportbrain-less, March 18, 2003

Sportbrain is a GREAT service with a loyal following and the best way I have ever found to egg myself into fitness.

The company, on the other hand, is less than stellar. It died about a year and a half ago from a lack of profit model. It was revived about three weeks ago, but seems to have died again. All the registered user areas including personal data, forums, chat etc. have been now inaccessible since yesterday morning. They are not returning e-mail.

I would not buy this product until there is some assurance that they will be in business.

5.0 out of 5 stars Elegant, motivating tool accompanied by inspiring community!, February 15, 2004

The success stories I've read on the message boards are heart warming. Skeptical couch potatoes donned the handy little SportBrain, watched their steps accumulate, were motivated to exercise more and watched the pounds and inches disappear.

Whether you need a kick in the pants to walk around the block or you're training for a marathon, you're in good company - the community consists of strollers and Ironman athletes, walkers, runners, sprinters and marathoners. SportBrain's following is growing by leaps and bounds! Share information, tips, advice and triumphs!

But, if all you want to do is see pretty, inspiring graphs and stats (and Happy Hearts for meeting your step goal) and to keep a log, SportBrain is extremely user-friendly.

Get one! Be one of the happy exercisers you see here and about. We're SportBrain users!
I am WatchHerGo, SportBrain devotee since March 26, 2001 - going strong three years later! ;)
