Classic on Shark fishing before it was popular,

This review is from: Sportfishing for sharks (Paperback)
I bought this book when I was a kid, maybe 14 years old, while visiting Nantucket, and was, no pun intended, hooked. Although now a bit outdated, particularly with its use of whale and dolphin as chum, it's still a fantastic book on how different sharks tend to behave prior to and, more importantly, after hooked. For 15 years, I worked as a charter boat captain, and did a lot of shark fishing, and found a lot of Mundus' observations very accurate.
Fishing is very different today, but even for the armchair fisherman who will never see a shark outside an aquarium, it's still a fun read.

I *love* this book, if only because it is one of the very few publications out there with a guide to catching the elusive chocolate shark. There's an entire section devoted to sailing one's skin boat up the cocoa canal in the hope of catching sight of this elusive beast, and as such, this book totally warrants the 5 stars I've awarded it.
