5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful tool for sensory processing, December 4, 2008
This review is from: DIZZY DISC (Misc.)
My autistic son, who is 5, was constantly craving to spin. We got him this toy at a on line store, Pocket full of therapy, p f o t dot c o m and has the cheapest price for it includding shipping. So far he has overcome that need and can last not too long, which is a good thing for him.

5.0 out of 5 stars A sure fire hit!, November 14, 2008
This review is from: DIZZY DISC (Misc.)
This is a really great toy. It will be used forever, is well made, and even the adults like it. Kids love to get dizzy, and the way it tilts and can change makes them go back for more and more. We had one for a lot of years, and it never had to be put away for 6 months (like most of our other toys) so that the kids would want it again. Is so easy...no pieces to clean up. Handle makes it simple to carry and put back in the closet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dizzy Lover, January 18, 2011
This review is from: DIZZY DISC (Misc.)
My uncle bought me the Dizzy Disc when I was about 5 and now 11 years later, I still love to spin! But I have to admit that I have become kind of addicted. My advice would be not to use the Dizzy Disc for prolong amounts of time and to cover your feet when using because serious bruising can occur due to the grooves on the Disc. I can spin for hours now and I almost wish that my parents had taken it away from me way back when. Maybe its just me but I spin with my Ipod in I feel less stressed. Anyhow, I love my Dizzy Disc and will keep it forever!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great therapy for SPD/ADHD kid, September 23, 2008

Use this when we take a break from homework assignments. I just say let's go spin for a minute! Neighborhood kids love it too......sturdy for 5 yrs to 25! My SPD kid loves it, as he never gets dizzy. It's fun to see him be able to spin longer than the other kids who get dizzy fast. He loves to be the WINNER!

5.0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC product, August 25, 2011

My son loves to spin....and I contemplated a regular sit and spin. Well - after reading reviews on this item and how it can be used standing - sitting - on your back - on your stomach - at an angle and so forth...I was hoping this would be a great toy. Let me tell you...it is fantastic! The sensory input available in such fun ways - is awesome! I think my favorite position so far has been when my little guy was on his back crunched into a ball while spinning. In any case - if you have a child that just likes to have fun...or if spinning for sensory reasons is an issue...you can't go wrong with this toy. I also purchased this toy used...and is so well made....I know we'll have this toy in our attic for grandkids...that I hope to be blessed with 20 yrs or so down the road.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the whole family!, August 14, 2008

We bought this for our son that has SPD and the whole family ended up using it. Even the adults (the weight limit is 150 pounds so my husband just makes it!) have a blast on it. It is loud if you just spin it, but with someone sitting on it (even my 24 pound toddler) it is quiet and is tons of fun.
